Kurt has a lot of explaining to do. He lied to us. Now he has to back-pedal and fill us in on what he's been hiding.
Miranda told him she had Barrow-Feld Syndrome. Like a gent, he covered up her embarrassing condition, lying about her location when she was supposedly going for an experimental course of treatment at Cognivia - even when one session coincided with Cymbalisty's death. Of course, Miranda was actually on the Ceretin 6 trial, saving up her tablets before poisoning hapless Isaac.
Kurt only discovered this when he used Miranda's login to look for any extra info on the Cognivia website this afternoon. And as soon as he used her login, Miranda was alerted and tried to get out of town.
He doesn't want her arrested - the police can't entirely be trusted - but he has registered Miranda as a missing person, meaning that any sightings of her on public transport will be reported to him. That should slow her down. And when he catches up with her...
