Violet's diary research is halted by the death of Chief Librarian Isaac Cymbalisty. The police call it suicide; Anna Heath, his best friend, calls it murder. Could it be related to the diary? Up in Anjsbourg, Scarlett and Allain finally track down Claire Castille - 'C' - who confirms that the thieves never held the Cube. But it's Kurt who finally identifies Cymbalisty's murderer. It's his own girlfriend, Miranda.

Kurt has a lot of explaining to do. He lied to us. Now he has to back-pedal and fill us in on what he's been hiding.
Miranda told him she had Barrow-Feld Syndrome. Like a gent, he covered up her embarrassing condition, lying about her location when she was supposedly going for an experimental course of treatment at Cognivia - even when one session coincided with Cymbalisty's death. Take a couple of minutes and visit his little questionnaire here to do your bit, and maybe Oistin will hand over that Ceretin 6 research paper at last.
(Be warned - Oistin is definitely on the eccentric side of genius.)

Sounds like Anna was persuasive - Kurt has set up the link to the police website and a couple of phone lines.
The plan seems to be for everyone on Earth to call the crime reporting line this evening, during the Roll for Damage gig, and overload the police to the point where they call in the Volunteer Force. This will give all the callers (and Anna's husband, who is a volunteer) emergency access to the police files.
Kurt just asks everyone to be responsible.
